Essentials: A Two Day Pop Up Shop Coming to Studio67

I am so pleased to announce that this week we will be hosting Essentials: a pop up shop featuring Easy and Mary Young here at Studio67. 

Why drag yourself through the rat race of the mall or drugstore to get the basics when you can check off that to-do list in the comfort of our studio? This is a two day in-studio experience that brings your everyday essentials to you in a stress free and relaxed setting.

Plus, you’ll have the chance to get to know the absolutely amazing women entrepreneurs behind these two up and coming local brands.

About Mary Young

Mary is the one-woman powerhouse currently performing all business, design and operational aspects of her self-titled clothing line, launched in 2014, MARY YOUNG. The company was formed as a result of her success in her graduating year at Ryerson where she became the first Fashion student to deliver both a capstone and a collection; the latter of which was chosen as one of the top collections in the Mass Exodus curated show.

Since its inception, the brand has enjoyed consistent sales growth and has earned significant exposure in notable publications such as Refinery29, Chatelaine, Elle Canada and with well-known fashion bloggers in both Canada and the U.S. Mary herself has earned a reputation for business and brand development, social marketing, community development and website design and is a frequent speaker at functions in and around the Toronto area. Named as one of Flare’s top 60 under 30 in 2016, Mary’s vision is to positively influence the Canadian-made fashion industry and offer women an alternative in clothing choices; complementing their lifestyle and identities without conforming them into what media determines a woman should be.

About Easy.

lyssa Bertram is a 26 year old from Toronto. After completing a research thesis in psychology and working to coordinate large scale research studies at the major hospitals in the city, she was looking for a shift. Knowing that her goal was to empower women, and drawing on something she always wished existed, Alyssa launched easy.

easy. is a subscription service for delivery of 100% organic cotton feminine hygiene products. They deliver a three months supply right to your doorstep with a fair trade chocolate bar. 5% of all profits from easy. are donated to ZanaAfrica Foundation, delivering pads and health education to girls in Kenya.

Alyssa's mission is to empower women both locally and abroad.

Join us Thursday evening, 7-10pm, for a champagne reception to welcome these two amazing women and brands to the neighbourhood. Pop up shop runs Friday and Saturday all day long.
